FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions

1. When will bookings open for the 2026 season?

Reservations for the 2026 season will become available in November 2025.

Bookings can only be made through the official online form, which will be accessible from the date announced, by clicking the “Book Now” button on our website.

Please note that reservation requests via email will not be accepted.

Our booking office is available Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

2. How can you make a booking?

Reservations can only be made by completing the online form available on this website.
We do not accept bookings submitted via email or by phone.

If no availability is shown, we kindly suggest trying different dates and/or accommodation types.

If you see a line across a date on the calendar, it means that date is fully booked.

3. While making a reservation on the site, can I get a cost estimate for the period I've chosen?

A price estimate for the selected accommodation will be shown once you fill in the booking form with your chosen dates and number of guests.

After checking the total amount, you may leave the page without completing the booking if you choose not to proceed.

4. Can I book a number of bungalows/maxi-caravans or pitches simultaneously?

No, the system only allows you to book one accommodation unit or pitch at a time.

To book multiple units, the process must be repeated separately for each one, using different guest names.

Accommodation units and/or pitches are assigned randomly based on the selected category.

5. If the number of people entered is higher than the maximum number for each bungalow/maxi-caravan or pitch, does the system automatically book an additional unit?

No, the system allows you to enter multiple guest names, but it does not automatically book additional units.

If you wish to reserve more than one unit, you will need to repeat the booking process for each unit individually.

Accommodation units cannot be occupied by more guests than the maximum number stated on the website.

Pitches can accommodate up to 6 people.

6. What is the cash limit for payments in Italy?

As of January 1st 2025, the maximum limit for cash payments in Italy is set at €5,000.
This means cash transactions are allowed up to €4,999.99; for amounts equal to or above this threshold, it is mandatory to use traceable payment methods such as bank transfers, non-transferable checks, or payment cards.

7. I sent an e-mail asking for information not related to the Piani di Clodia facilities (e.g. information about the weather, opening times of shops or restaurants, etc.) but have received no reply.

Due to the high volume of daily inquiries, Piani di Clodia is unable to respond promptly to general information requests.

8. What happens if I arrive late, after the time when the pitch is handed over?

Guests are kindly asked to notify us of any delay by calling +39 045 7590456 or by replying to their booking confirmation email.

Otherwise, after 5:00 PM, the pitch will be considered available and may be reassigned if requested.

9. What should I bring with me when staying in a bungalow/maxi-caravan?

Kitchen linen (tablecloth, tea towels, etc.)

Bathroom and bed linen (available for rent on site or when booking).

Pool towels

Hygiene items and household cleaning products.

We’ve taken care of everything else.

10. A member of my family has a disability. Do you have suitable toilets/bathrooms?

Pets are only allowed in specific pitches (marked as PET), as well as in the Maxicaravans Naturalgreen, Naturalgreen Garden, Bungalow Virgilio Valpolicella PET FRIENDLY, Lugana PET, and Luxury Lagoon PET.

They must always be kept on a leash within the campsite.
Admission is permitted only for animals with valid health certification as required by law, and upon payment of the applicable pet stay fee.

11. Can I bring my dog with me on holiday?

Pets are allowed in certain pitches, in Maxicaravan Naturalgreen and Naturalgreen Garden and in Bungalows Virgilio Valpolicella and Lugana. They have always to be kept on a leash inside the campsite. Admission is allowed for animals only upon presentation of a health certificate, as provided for by law, and subsequent to payment of the daily rate.

12. I don’t have a card to pay online — are there any other payment methods? (Bank transfers, PayPal, Google Pay, Apple Pay, or AMEX)

Unfortunately, we do not accept bank transfers, American Express, or PayPal.

Yes, Apple Pay and Google Pay can be used, but only if linked to a card that is enabled for electronic payments and properly activated in compliance with PSD2 regulations, which require Strong Customer Authentication.

Online payments are accepted exclusively through cards that meet PSD2 standards and support two-factor authentication.

If you do not have a compliant card, we kindly suggest asking a trusted family member or friend for assistance in completing the transaction.

Alternatively, you may contact your bank to check how to enable your card for online payments.

Once you click the confirmation button, the payment must be completed within 30 minutes.

Upon successful completion, you will receive a transaction confirmation from Nexi Payments S.p.A.

For full terms and conditions, please refer to the dedicated page on our website:
https://www.pianidiclodia.it/prezzi/le-nostre-condizioni

Where applicable, the final balance must also be paid using a card enabled for electronic payments.

13. Is wearing a swim cap mandatory?

No, wearing a swim cap is not mandatory.
However, if you prefer to wear one for personal comfort or hygiene, you are welcome to do so.

14. The web check-in shows an error / I need to make a change to my submitted web check-in.

If the web check-in shows an error, it may be because the payment has not yet been recorded by our booking office, or because the check-in has already been completed previously.

In some cases, the system may automatically send reminder emails even if the form has already been submitted. If so, please feel free to disregard the message.

If you need to update any details already submitted via web check-in (such as car plate number, names, or addresses), kindly contact us by email, as the system does not allow access to make changes.

15. I need to rent a refrigerator or a car/scooter. How can I do that? Can I bring my own BBQ?

For refrigerator rentals (or other accessories), we recommend contacting NOLFRIGO or GARDASERVICE4U directly — two local providers operating around Lake Garda who deliver the rented equipment directly to your pitch.
For car or scooter rentals, several external services are available, including GardaRentalTre, ModenaCars, and Vispetta.

(For bicycle and e-bike rentals, we have a dedicated rental point inside the holiday park.)

The Management recommends using electric barbecue devices only (NO GAS, NO CHARCOAL), and using them carefully and respectfully to avoid disturbing nearby guests.
Alternatively, two dedicated barbecue areas are available in the park and can be used freely.

16. What can I do during my holiday, besides the activities offered by Piani di Clodia?

There are plenty of activities and excursions available throughout your stay, suitable for all interests.

You can currently book tours and experiences through several well-known providers, including:
